![]() About us: The founder, Dino Rachiele, formed this company in 1999. He was a professional kitchen designer for over 20 years and was frustrated with the lack of ergonomic design offered by sink manufacturers. He was also amazed at the fact that all sink manufacturers still place drains in the center of a sink. A center drain dates back to ancient Egyptian times, when the tooling only allowed for a vessel to drain properly if the drain was in the center of the bowl. Rear corner drains just make sense - and we are the only manufacturers that seem to realize that fact. We believe in the work ethic of the U.S. worker. There are countries producing somewhat similar products, but they have not been able to match our American craftsmanship. The company was intentionally grown slowly, with attention to quality products and service. All of the employees at Rachiele are obsessed with providing the finest in products and personal customer care. Over the years, unique products have been added to the Rachiele offering such as; wrought iron countertop supports, semi-precious gemstone sinks, pewter and zinc countertops and more. The Rachiele name is known for being the best of the best. Our products grace the homes of the rich and famous.
Rachiele is now offering its entire line
of products direct to the public at 50% off of retail prices. Our entire staff is cross trained, so you should be able
to have your questions answered quickly by whomever answers the phone.
C.E.O. and Founder
Hello friends. I have several passions in my life, one is cooking. It seems to be a "family thing". Most of my cousins, aunts and uncles cook. I think that is one of the reasons I am so passionate about making sinks that make sense for someone who loves to cook. Most of the sinks on the market are totally impossible to work with if you really cook!. Another passion of mine is music. I play piano, cello, guitar, and drums. So far, I have not seen a need for improvements there (ha). Speaking of my passion, our family can not seem to have a Christmas without Timpano on the table. Some of you may know that my Aunt Joan Tucci wrote an Italian cookbook called Cucina & Famiglia. It was inspired by a movie my cousin, Stanley Tucci, wrote and starred in, called Big Night. The main dish in the movie, a favorite in my family, is called Timpano. I found a video by Molto Mario that illustrates how Timpano is made. The cookbook is now out of print, so this is as close as you can get to the recipe. I hope you all enjoy.
In case you are wondering who my cousin is, here he is being
interviewed on the Daily Show.
