Copper Self Rimming (top mounted) copper kitchen
sinks made in the USA by Rachiele

Over the years I have replaced hundreds of
sinks, from single bowl to those horrible triple bowl sinks, with
ergonomically correct self rimming sinks. These sinks are very easy to
install. Most sinks on the market are either 33"X22", 42"X22" or 48" X22".
We can make a sink to replace your undermount or top mount sink. If you have
an undermount sink of a shape or size that is difficult to replace and would
like an economical replacement, we can do it! Let's look at both options:
- Replacing an existing top mount sink
This is quite simple. Just measure the overall size of your existing
sink and compare it with one of our three sizes. If yours does not match
one of our sizes, we can easily make a sink to fit. All of these sinks
are custom made, however I have only put the most common sizes online.
We can build any size.
- Replacing an under mount sink with a top mount sink
Generally, your under mount sink might have a cut out in the countertop
that has radius corners, or an odd shape. This type of sink generally
requires a phone call. I can discuss options with you over the phone and
give pricing options.

The kitchen remodel was replacing an under mounted sink with our self rimming
sink.
"Hi Dino. It has been a
few months now since we installed our new copper sinks and I am writing to
tell you that they have totally transformed the look of our kitchen. Of
course, the big sink is so much more functional than our old three-basin
sink -- the big single bowl design now lets us get pots and pans fully in
the sink; the right corner drain works really well for washing things; and
the slightly shallower depth is easier to work with. And of course both
sinks and their cool faucets look stellar on their own. But all of a sudden
those elements of our kitchen that previously looked a little run down now
seem to look chic-ly rustic. And although our old over-mount white sinks
simply looked date, the over-mount on the copper sinks (which we stuck with,
as you know, so we could avoid having to rip out the old countertops) looks
like a savvy design element." S. Senator
Our self rimming sinks have an architectural edge profile. This gives the
sink a luxury look.
Would
you like a less expensive option without a rear deck and architectural
edge?>>>>>>>

are more than the imports? Read why here!

This is the typical 33" by 22" copper self rimming replacement sink (shown
left) We have priced the sinks with one hole in the rear deck for a faucet.
Price includes architectural edge. I suggest a 12" copper grid with
sinks smaller than 36" if you choose our "Smarter" sink option.

architectural edge we put on our sinks.

I
asked a recent customer, who replaced a triple bowl undermount sink with a
top mount sink, how much did the project cost and how long did it take? Here
is her response. The
time frame to replace the sink was approximately 6 hours (1 hr for the
plumber to disconnect, 3 hours for the granite guy to remove the sink and
change the granite opening to fit the new sink-put the hole for the faucet
and 2 hours for the plumber to reconnect the sink and faucet including
installation of the garbage disposal) however it had to be done over a 3 day
period because of scheduling (had I known the time involved it might have
been done in one day). The plumber charged $335 plus the cost of the new
garbage disposal (which I am very happy I did as it appears the old one
really had some problems in comparison to this new one) and the granite guy
charged $90/hr for a total of $270. Even the granite guy asked about your
website for some of his customers. I figure that including the cost of the
new disposal I saved between $2000 and $4000 by having you make the sink and
getting the great faucet from you over getting a "Chinese" sink & faucet and
replacing the granite as would have been required. My husband is beginning
to see the advantage of the texture so it is growing on him (he does not
like change although he loves the size and quality of the sink and faucet).
I am so glad I found your website and spoke with you about the sink - glad
you talked me out of a multiple bowl - glad I purchased the terrific faucet
from you - my kitchen is so much prettier and I love the sink and faucet
more than even I imagined I would. Thank you and your staff for a great
purchase. I have several friends who will be green with envy, so of course I
will pass on to them your website.
