This is our patented apron front sink with a channel behind the apron that
slips over the face frame of the cabinet. My patent allows you to install an
apron front sink into existing cabinetry with no modification to the
cabinet. All you do is remove the false drawer(s). The process for measuring
and ordering is simple. Installation is so simple, anyone can do it. This is
a quote from one of our customers' emails regarding the installation if this
sink: "My demo people forgot to install the sink
before they left, so that night I took it upon myself to try to install it,
and wouldn't you know – it slid right in – just like it shows on the
website!" Denise C. Read more about her project and see more photos...

This customer asked for a darker version of Fire and Ice. When we do a
custom patina, we generally photograph the apron prior to the last step. We
email the photo to you so you can direct us as to whether you would like
more coloration, more movement or less of these options. We will make sure
you are thrilled with the result.

This apron sink features a stencil patina on the apron of the sink. We have
several patterns to choose from.

This apron sink features our "Tiger Eye" patina on the apron. The vast
majority of our apron patinas receive a long lasting lacquer topcoat to
protect the patina. We NEVER lacquer the inside of a sink - that is a
"no-no".

"Rustic" patina is gaining in popularity. You can request specific colors,
like greens, blues, blacks, etc. We will make sure you are thrilled with the
result.

This client asked for a rustic hammered sink. You can see that the hammering
is nothing like the imports. We use a very hard cold rolled copper which is
impossible to hammer like the ones you see being imported.

Our customers often send photos of their finished kitchens. We would love to
see yours! This photo shows a very deep copper apron front sink with a
weathered patina inside and out. They used a Herbeau Creations weathered
brass and copper faucet (available at our sister company's site -

look is rustic, and we followed suit with a rustic patina on the sink. This
sink was ordered for the Dutch Mills Factory Showroom in Goshen, Indiana. If
you are looking for a custom finish on the apron of your sink, just ask. Our
artist finishes
the sinks in our warehouse and we will be glad to send
photos of your project prior to shipping for approval. That option gives you
the ability to tell us if you would like the finish darker, more rustic,
etc. prior to shipping. We want you to be thrilled when you receive your
sink.
Dutch Mills Cabinetry is considered one of the finest custom cabinet
manufacturers in the USA. They are very particular about every detail of the
construction of their cabinets. When they remodeled their factory showroom,
they were offered free sinks for their displays by several sink companies,
but opted to pay for a Rachiele sink as they felt only our sink would convey
the 10 quality they felt appropriate to be integrated into their cabinetry.

The request... rustic patina. This sink graces a showroom in Clayton,
Georgia by the name of The Heritage Home Collection. The Heritage Home
Collection is the most exclusive showroom in their region. They insist on
the best of the best. They cater to the rich and famous, such as
professional baseball players, owners of fortune 500 companies and movie
stars living in Highlands, North Carolina and Atlanta. The only
copper sink they will represent is Rachiele.

This is a perfectly sized apron front copper sink. It is 36" wide, with
plenty of space for setting things off to the left, thanks to the right rear
drain location.

This is what a copper sink looks like before we apply a patina.

This is one of the very first sinks we ever built. It was requested by
General Electric for use in a photo shoot for their Monogram Series
Literature. It was hand hammered (and was a double bowl).

This
is a huge (48") apron sink featuring two bowls with a small divider between
each bowl. The entire sink has our weathered patina.

Oh stupid me! This is my secondary kitchen sink. First, I had a rear center
drain (I was blindly following the crowd over the stupid cliff). Thankfully,
my larger sink has a right rear drain. Secondly, it was not weathered - I
would not do that again. The only thing I can say in my defense is that this
was one of the first sinks we ever built. I was the "guinea pig".

Can you tell we are crazy about copper? Our copper sink was featured at the

Hammered (Rachiele style - real ball peen hammering). We recommend only
hammering the apron. If you want the interior hammered, we recommend
hammering only the sides. Having a flat bottom (pitched to the drain) will
ease your maintenance.

If you take a close look (click on the images) you will see this was a
tricky project. The customer wanted to replace a fireclay sink without
disturbing the countertop. Our precision had to be perfect. On top of
everything, their countertop had an odd partial recess around the sink that
we had to fit. According to our customer, the sink fit like a glove!
