Showcase of Unique copper sinks

This is the inside of my copper sink. The sink is 39" long and 12" deep with a secondary bottom to raise the working area to 9" deep. If I had to do it over, I would have built an 8" deep sink! This is one of the first sinks we ever built and I was the guinea pig. Thankfully, the mistake was on my own sink. I am very jealous of the sinks going out these days. They are so much better than mine.

Radius apron front sink was custom made to fit the fine cabinetry of Quality Custom Cabinetry for the 2005 Kitchen and Bath Show in Las Vegas. Quality Custom Cabinetry could have selected many other sinks for their display. In fact, most every other manufacturer would have offered their sinks at no charge just to have their product in the National Kitchen and Bath show. Quality Custom Cabinetry by passed their free options and paid for a Rachiele sink because they wanted to show a quality that was representative of the fine quality craftsmanship of their cabinetry.

(2010) I have since realized that a curved front apron sink is less user friendly than a straight front sink. Think about it... Can you guess why?

Copper antimicrobial surgical scrub sink

This is an antimicrobial copper surgical scrub sink for Tulane Lakeside Hospital in Louisiana. We were commissioned to build this through our medical division. Just thought it would be cool to show it on this web site too! The faucet is a touch free faucet, so this set up should help with germ control in the hospital. Many hospitals are testing antimicrobial touch surfaces in an attempt to control the spread of disease. Sadly, 1 in 20 that enter a hospital in the USA contract an illness just from being in the hospital. Antimicrobial touch surfaces should help the numbers drop significantly.

This is a photo of Melissa's kitchen. As you can see she has used copper with contemporary white cabinetry. She has also had a custom patina made on the copper back splash behind her cook top.
