The following videos illustrate what goes into packing and shipping your custom Rachiele sink.

We have spent countless hours working on the best way to ship a sink to you safely. Since we have to deal with shippers who sometimes act more like gorillas than humans, we do everything we can to protect your sink. In the first video, you will see one of our custom wood boxes showing the ShockWatch monitoring devices we place on every box. These devices will indicate if the box has been dropped or mishandled. All sides of the box (except the top) are glued with liquid nail and screwed together. Your drain box will be glued to the bottom with hot melt glue. Just cut the box open. The glue is strong enough that the wood box can actually be lifted by pulling up on the drain box. This insures the box will not come loose and damage the sink.

I think these videos will give you a better idea of what you pay for when you pay to have your sink shipped.

All of our sinks are checked repeatedly during the manufacturing process for dimensional accuracy and squareness. Lastly, I check every sink one more time before they are packaged.
