Have an existing cut-out in your granite and need a
sink to fit?
We can manufacture sinks to fit existing cutouts in copper.
This is a very common replacement sink for poorly designed double bowl undermount sinks (which all happen to be obsolete designs). This
is a very expensive sink for us to manufacture. The bottom is one piece, the
side is welded to the bottom, both inside and out. Then, the flange is
welded to the side, both inside and out. This sink requires about 5 times
the labor of an apron front sink. Figure approximately $4200 for a sink like
this one. This type of sink is very difficult to build. We have to weld the
bottom to the sides (inside and out) and the top flange has to be welded to
the sides (inside and out). There is about 5 times the labor in building a
sink like this, verses a standard rectangular sink. If you want to get rid of your existing sink and keep your
countertop, this option offers a great sink, a perfect fit and a less
expensive alternative to replacing granite tops. We make sinks like this all
the time. Our customers send us a template in the mail and we build the sink
to the exact size of the template. We can walk you through the process.
Several customers have expressed initial concern about our sink fitting
properly, however - every sink we have sent has fit PERFECTLY!
There is a less expensive option! Have your countertop cut to a rectangular
shape. Often this costs around $200 or so. We can then make a gorgeous top
mounted sink
like the one below to fit the opening.
Pricing for this option starts at $2574

I just found this lousy photo that I took with my old Iphone. It is a grainy
photo, but you can get the idea that this sink is made differently than our
other sinks. This sink replaces a double bowl sink as an undermount single
bowl. The granite was not touched to make the change. The old sink was
simply removed and this new copper sink was put in its place. This option is
expensive, as mentioned earlier, these sinks are are in the high 3K to low
4K range, but it is a really nice alternative to a double bowl sink that
might be driving you nuts!
Our
customer owned a difficult to use triple bowl sink and wanted to replace it without
replacing their countertops. They wanted a single bowl copper sink. The two
photos below are of the sink we built them.
We can make a sink to fit your existing
countertop and the process is simple. Just send us a template (we will show
you how to make one) and we build the sink to fit perfectly.
