Finally... A real copper kitchen sink drain and disposal
flange that is not "plated" in copper. For years we have watched the copper
sink industry in wonder. With the rise in interest in copper sinks, you
would think there would be a copper drain on the market. That has not been
the case. All the ones we have seen are plated, and the plating eventually
wears off. We are producing copper drains and disposer flanges and strainers
that are not plated. They are solid through and through. Nothing to wear off
and no maintenance. Now you can have

This is what a plated drain looks like after only two years
of use. This one happens to have been made by Mountain Plumbing. All copper plated drain will not last. Our drains are made of solid
copper - no plating to ever wear off.
Watch out... we have had calls regarding another copper drain on the market
that is not fitting disposers properly. Our drains are tested and designed
to fit perfectly. We have sold thousands of these over the past 4 or 5
years.
Wow, that is one ugly drain! It is only a couple of years old and the
plating is coming off. If you get a plated drain, this is what you should
expect. Our drains are NOT plated. They are SOLID COPPER!
Let's talk about oysters and clams... If you have ever shucked them and have a garbage disposal, you know it is very tough to keep the small shells out of the disposer. Our deluxe solid copper disposal flange comes standard with a stopper AND a strainer basket. You can run the water while the strainer is in place and catch items you do not want to go down the drain. Most disposal flanges merely offer a stopper. Our allows for straining and stopping of water!

Our weathered patina is unlike any in the industry, they are not plated. We
hand dip the drains in a patina solution, hand rub the drain to the desired
coloration, and hand apply a temporary lemon oil coating. The original
patina is NOT designed to last forever. We assume you will be installing
these drains in a copper sink. Copper sinks eventually weather with use. So
will our drains. Your drain will develop a similar look to your copper sink
in short order. .

Solid copper kitchen drain and strainer/stopper. This is used without
a disposer. This drain is made of solid copper and is not plated, therefore
will last a lifetime. Most other drains on the market are made using a base
metal of either brass or stainless. In as soon as a few months to as much as
2 years or so, you will begin wearing through the plating and will expose
the base metal. Lifetime limited warranty on the finish (no lacquer to peal

The lavatory drain shown below are plated over stainless steel, using a color tumbling process that gives realistic multi-colorations and a true weathered look. Multi color beads are placed in a tumbler along with the drains and the plating becomes very realistic looking. These drains look so much more realistic than the typical antique copper drains. They are plated over stainless steel. These drains should last a very long time, however the warranty is a year long - as plated products can not be warranted for life. Our drains are lacquered on top of the plating to give a secondary wear layer. Most drains are not produced like this.
Our most popular drain - the "Soft Touch" drain. Simply press the top to
open, then press again to close. Spring loaded action makes opening and
