Under mount copper sinks with rear corner drains just make sense! Better yet, our Signature Series sinks feature interior small ledges that allow for a copper drain grid and various cutting boards. All of your food preparation can be accomplished quickly and efficiently right on your sink!
My copper sinks are drastically different than all others on the market. We use a different type of pure domestic copper that is extemely hard and durable. My sinks do not require drying after every use (like most imports require), no maintenance other than rinsing after use. Just use regular dish soap to wash the sink. I offer a lifetime transferable warranty on all of my copper sinks.
This is my "Signature Series Sink". It is an under mount sink featuring a small ledge front and rear, set down 2" from the top of the sink. This ledge allows for copper grids, cutting boards and other options to rest on, and slide back and forth of the ledges. All food prep is now done on the sink instead of on the countertop!
If you have heard that copper sinks are a nightmare to care for... they can be! If the interior of the sink is not similar to the color of an old penny, you are in for disappointment. My copper sink interiors are naturally weathered and the patina will always come back to the color of an old penny. We never use a faux finish on the insides of our sinks. Rest assured, if you see a copper sink with a different interior finish, it is NOT natural and you will be sorry!
For those of you who are interested... This is what our sinks look like just after manufacturing and prior to the patina process.
This is a 30" wide, 19 1/2" front to back and 8" deep under mount copper sink. It is on sale now with our self healing weathered patina. My sinks do not require drying after each use like most imports! Virtually no maintenance. Read why...
This is a Signature Series "trough" sink made in copper with our self healing weathered patina. Fill it with ice and place beverages inside. I designed the sink with internal dividers to separate areas for ice and beverages. An unfinished photo of this sink currently resides on another website giving the impression they designed and sold this sink for commercial use. That is not the case. Sadly, illusional sales abound on the internet with the help of Photoshop. (They also mention the sink is 60" long - it was only 40" long). You can even see what appears to be a faint Rachiele logo on the sink in their photo.
Signature Series Trough Sinks are becoming popular for entertaining guests in homes. Long narrow sinks with accessories for cutting make this sink perfect! I want a vodka on the rocks please!
I have a patent on a sink with a partially setback drain location. The drain can be either in the center or the right or left corner. This sink has no patina yet - that is why it is so shiny and a new penny color. It did receive a weathered patina, however I did not photograph it at the time. We have sold quite a few of these in California as potting shed sinks.
This installation was a retrofit replacement of an existing under mount triple bowl sink. If you notice, the radii in the corners was relatively small - allowing us to under mount a replacement sink without any adjustment to the countertop. If you have an under mount sink with larger radii, I suggest one of our top mount Signature Series retrofit sinks or have the granite cut and polished on site.
Here's a rare double bowl under mount sink. We only build one or two a year. Frankly, for most people, these sinks are obsolete. Our single bowl Signature Series sinks out perform double bowl sinks.
