Custom Copper Under Mount Sinks as well as Copper Trough Sinks
with offset drains - Virtually no special maintenance copper sinks! (Read why)
Copper under mount sinks with rear corner drains just make sense! In fact, I lead the industry with the first true workstation sink design over a decade ago. I recently make a drastic improvement. I believe my NexGen design is the finest engineered sink in the world. Up until now, workstation sinks had a "step" that held up the accessories. My new innovative design removes the step and the sink width remains the same at the bottom as the top. This innovation gives the user an extra inch of front to back space in the sink with this option. My design gives 34 square inches of additional space inside a 36" sink. One of the best benefits of this design is that the perforated grid, that sits on the ledge, can now be placed on the bottom in the same orientation. Simply put one end toward the bottom and the other end will bypass the ledge. Now you can wash pots and pans on one side and set off on the grid on the other. You can also place your colandar on the grid (in the bottom position) when pouring out pasta and not worry about "backwash". In the top position, use it for rinsing food, thawing food and as a prep counter adjacent to your cutting board. Also in the top position it will be a great place to set your washed and rinsed delecate stemware. No more towel on the counter and fogged up glasses that must be hand dried!

This is my original workstation sink: "Signature Series. It is an under mount sink featuring a small step front and rear, set down from the top of the sink. This step allows for copper grids, cutting boards and other options to rest on, and slide back and forth of the steps. All food prep is now done on the sink instead of on the countertop! Interior width below the step is 16 1/2".
If you have heard that copper sinks are a nightmare to care for... they can be! If the interior of the sink is not similar to the color of an old penny, you are in for disappointment. My copper sink interiors are naturally weathered and the patina will always come back to the color of an old penny. We never use a faux finish on the insides of our sinks. Rest assured, if you see a copper sink with a different interior finish, it is NOT natural and you will be sorry!
For those of you who are interested... This is what our sinks look like just after manufacturing and prior to the patina process.
This is a 30" wide, 19 1/2" front to back and 8" deep under mount copper sink. It is on sale now with our self healing weathered patina. My sinks do not require drying after each use like most imports! Virtually no maintenance. Read why...
This is a Signature Series "trough" sink made in copper with our self healing weathered patina. Fill it with ice and place beverages inside. I designed the sink with internal dividers to separate areas for ice and beverages. An unfinished photo of this sink currently resides on another website giving the impression they designed and sold this sink for commercial use. That is not the case. Sadly, illusional sales abound on the internet with the help of Photoshop. (They also mention the sink is 60" long - it was only 40" long). You can even see what appears to be a faint Rachiele logo on the sink in their photo.
Signature Series Trough Sinks are becoming popular for entertaining guests in homes. Long narrow sinks with accessories for cutting make this sink perfect! I want a vodka on the rocks please!
I have a patent on a potting sink with a setback drain location. The drain can be either in the center or the right or left corner. This sink has no patina yet - that is why it is so shiny and a new penny color. It did receive a weathered patina, however I did not photograph it at the time. We have sold quite a few of these in California as potting shed sinks. If you would like one of these, please call me.
This installation is one of our original Signature Series Workstation sinks. Believe it or not, I introduced the first workstation sinks to the market and just about everyone else followed with similar designs. The faucet suite you see is the Towson, by Waterstone. We are Waterstone Authorized Dealers and we offer a nice discount when you purchase a sink!
Here's a rare double bowl under mount sink. We only build one or two a year. Frankly, for most people, these sinks are obsolete. Our single bowl workstation sinks out perform double bowl sinks.
Copper under mount sink featuring our solid copper disposal flange and stopper/strainer basket. This was a retrofit sink that we built for an existing opening. Note the slight radius corners on the cut out. I think it looks just fine with our sink.
The HOAX that has been perpetrated on the public for 20 years.
This is what you should consider when a company makes purity claims on the copper they use. If the company of origin is Mexico, India, China, Turkey, etc., how the heck do they come up with purity percentages? It is inherent in all recycled copper that the purity level changes from batch to batch. Some companies show scrap copper pipes, etc. being melted down. Do you really think those companies really have independent testing of the copper? One such company claims the copper is 100% pure copper. Think about it for a minute. If they are going to make those outrageous claims, have them prove it. Have them email you independent certifications papers on the most recent batch. I have been watching these claims go unchallenged for almost two decades. I can show you independent certification of every shipment of copper I receive and am glad to send you a copy if requested. So what can commonly be found in recycled copper if it is not purified properly? Lead, Mercury and Arsenic.
If you are interested in purchasing domestic copper, ask for proof in writing showing the certification papers from the supplier.
Our customers often send photos of their finished kitchens. We would love to see yours!
One of my best feel-good moments was when my husband was using the sink to do a lot of chopping and after a while he turned to me and said: "You were right about this sink...I love it." All the mess stays in the sink. I love, love, love my sink! Sharla Schultze
Wouldn't it be nice to have good storage below your sink?
Copper under mount sink showing right rear drain. The right rear drain is key to the value of our sinks. You can wash on the right and set off to dry on the left. You can place large cookie sheets , platters and even your refrigerator shelves flat down inside the bowl without covering the drain.
This is a Signature Series workstation sink - Copper under mount workstation sinks are 95% of our under mount sink sales
This is a photo sent in by a past customer. This is a Copper Under Mount Signature Series workstation sink. The faucet is a Gantry by Waterstone. (We are an authorized Waterstone Dealer) To the left is an instant hot faucet.
This copper under mount 30" sink features our self healing naturally weathered interior.
We use no harsh chemicals, waxes, or lacquers. All of our under mount copper sink also features an offset rear drain location. This will allow you to place most pots, pans, platters and cookie sheets inside the bowl without covering up the drain. Rear center or center drains make no sense at all. Try to think of a thoughtful reason for putting a drain in the middle of a sink. Bet you can't think of one.
Thanks for the photo Jake!
One of our past clients sent us a photo of his under mount copper Rachiele sink. In fact, he recently ordered a second one! The vast majority of our sales are from past clients and referrals from past clients.

" Here are a few pictures sort thru what you think will work. I LOVE my sink......highly, highly recommend it to EVERYONE! Nothing bothers it, if I get a light spot from food, in matter of days it goes back to the same finish. Amazing....wonderful purchase. June k "
New for 2018 NexGen - the future of workstation sink design.
This is a photo of the first NexGen copper under mount sink built. Instead of a step that holds up accessories, there is a small ledge. This ledge allows an additional inch of usable space across the entire bottom of the sink. Interior width is 17 1/2" above and below the ledge.
My design offers a whopping 34 additional square inches of usable space in a 36" bowl.
Signature Series Workstation Trough Sink
This is a gorgeous Signature Series Workstation Trough sink with an interior step to place a cutting board or a copper grid. This sink featured a very steep sloped interior to the drain as specified by the architect. This sink is a party waiting to happen! The faucet is a matching weathered copper patina by Waterstone.
This small under mount copper sink was also installed in an HGTV house.
This small bar sink was hammered and was used in an HGTV home. As you can see by the choice of faucet, copper goes well with silver metals!
Such an artistic photo - sent in by a past client.
This is an example of what an undermount Signature Series sink would look like in a situation where the counter top corners have a radius. Looks good to me!
Our sinks are like our babies sent out for adoption.
We remember just about all of them. I get photos of sinks in their new homes almost every day by email. This is just one of thousands of examples.
This is a small copper under mount sink that was installed in an HGTV model home.
My company was featured on HGTV back in early 2007 or so. We supplied all of the sinks and faucets for a large estate home. We were one of the only vendors allowed to charge for our products while getting a great deal of TV time. You can see the original video here.
Kerry's amazing sink. This is a sink that has been used for quite some time.

This, and all the other photos were sent in by very happy clients. Hundreds of other photos reside on our "Photos" page. This is a 48" sink with two faucets. They have been using their sink for several months and love the 8" depth and the ability for two adults to work at the sink.
