Copper Tubs & Copper Showers
We can build copper soaking tubs with straight or slanted backs. We do not build the clawfoot types you see online elsewhere. Those are imported and are made of a much softer copper than we use. We do not build the shower pan. We recommend a company called Luminore to coat a pan of your choice. The coating reacts just like pure copper. It is durable and easy to care for.
Take a look at the photo to the left. It is a photo of the copper shower in our master bath. This is what it looks like after almost 17 years. This is just me talking, but I would never bathe in a copper tub that was made outside the U.S.A. I can provide certification for the copper I purchase in the U.S.A. stating it is mercury, lead and arsenic free. Tubs, in general, will cost at least $6,000. Showers will vary quite a bit, but a general price range for a normal size shower is going to be around $10,000 with all the molding required for installation.
