The Art of Custom Sinks, Redefined Since 1999
From a bold vision to industry-leading craftsmanship, discover how Dino Rachiele revolutionized custom kitchen sinks.
A Vision That Transformed Custom Kitchen Sinks
Designed From Experience, Built With Purpose
Dino Rachiele founded this company with a simple idea: the kitchen sink should serve the cook—not frustrate them. After decades as a kitchen designer, he saw how standard sinks failed real people with real needs. Guided by his Italian-American roots, love of cooking, and deep respect for craftsmanship, Dino set out to create something better—something built around the way people actually live.
Rachiele Custom Sinks was born in 1999 in Apopka, Florida. From day one, Dino insisted on American-made stainless steel, copper, brass, and bronze—metals chosen not just for beauty, but for their strength and longevity. Because when a sink is built with care and intention, it becomes more than a fixture—it becomes part of your family’s rhythm.
We don’t mass-produce. We listen carefully and build one sink at a time, for one household at a time. No gimmicks. No trends. Just heirloom-quality sinks, handcrafted with intention and pride. Welcome to Rachiele®. We’re genuinely glad you’re here.
An Honored Career in Kitchen Design
In the year 2000, Dino had the honor of being inducted into two prestigious guilds: the Guild of Accredited Cabinetry and Space Planners, and the Guild of Professional Kitchen and Bath Planners. His expertise and insight were also recognized in a significant publication, as he served as a named consultant for the Ortho book "How to Plan Perfect Kitchens," authored by Kathleen M. Kiely and published on January 1, 1994. Later, in the July 16th, 2014 issue of Forbes Magazine, an article spotlighted Dino's latest patented creation, the Evolution dual-tier workstation sink, lauding it as one of the most functional sinks on the market at that time.
Between 1995 and 1999, Dino had the privilege of serving as a keynote speaker for numerous companies within the kitchen industry. His role involved delivering lectures on advanced kitchen design techniques to seasoned industry professionals, further cementing his reputation as a thought leader in the field.

Your Kitchen Should Serve You, Not the Other Way Around
Most kitchens are designed around cabinets and appliances, not around the person who cooks. In this video, I explain a different approach.
When your sink becomes your primary work surface, prep and cleanup become easier, faster, and far more enjoyable.
Master Artisans
At Rachiele, craftsmanship isn't just a word-it's a way of life. Every sink we create is a testament to skill, precision, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Unlike mass-produced alternatives, our sinks are meticulously handcrafted by artisans who have spent years honing their craft. Each detail, from seamless welds to carefully curated patinas, reflects the dedication of a master at work. As a mark of authenticity, you'll find the signature of each artisan who played a role in creating your sink-a lasting symbol of quality and pride. You will also see a thank-you note and Dino's signature on the bottom of every sink.

The Rachiele Philosophy: Craftsmanship Beyond Convention
Where Tradition, Innovation, and Intentionality Intersect
At Rachiele, we never chased convention. We quietly dismantled it.
For over 40 years, I’ve designed kitchens and sinks that aren’t just beautiful—they serve. I didn’t build this company by asking what others were doing. I built it by asking what wasn’t being done well enough.
Every detail you see—and the countless ones you don’t—are born of that mindset. Because a truly bespoke sink doesn’t just fit a space. It fits a life.
While others copy appearances, we craft around intention. The ergonomics. The reach. The rhythm of your prep and clean-up. These subtleties can’t be seen in a photo. They’re only known through years of lived experience—and they can’t be faked.
Crafted for those who recognize what others overlook
At Rachiele, ease was never the goal. We built this company by questioning the ordinary—and rejecting it.
From the beginning, I set out not to match what others were doing but to exceed what no one else thought to improve. We dismantle assumptions. We rethink ergonomics. And we never create for the sake of appearance alone—if it doesn’t serve your daily life with clarity and purpose, it has no place in our work.
Our sinks don’t follow trends. They establish a higher bar. You can see it. You can feel it.
With over four decades in kitchen design—more than 20 of those as a professional designer—I've seen every angle, shortcut, and oversight. My hourly rate for kitchen consulting is $175, but when you choose Rachiele, that depth of expertise is simply part of the experience. Because truly bespoke isn’t just about the product—it’s about the process behind it.
Yes, our designs have been imitated. Often. But replication ends at the surface.
The difference lies in the feel of the cut. The reach of the faucet. The subtle slope that drains perfectly without a second thought. These things aren’t obvious in a photo—and they can’t be borrowed. They come only from living the work.
And that’s the difference between building a sink… and building a legacy.

Dedicated to Service: Rachiele’s Philanthropy for Veterans, First Responders, and Neighbors
At Rachiele Custom Sinks, we believe in putting our resources where they matter most—into making a difference. Rather than spending heavily on advertising, we focus on giving back to those in need. Witnessing the positive impact our work can have is what makes this journey truly meaningful for us.

Since founding this company in 1999, I’ve made it a priority to give back to our veterans in a meaningful way. Every time a veteran purchases one of our sinks, we contribute 50 percent of our net profit from their purchase. It’s a small way to honor the men and women who spend long periods away from their families to protect our freedoms.
One story in particular has stayed with me. A young woman’s husband was deployed in Afghanistan when a flood devastated their home. On top of the emotional toll, she found herself in a difficult battle with her insurance company. Wanting to offer some comfort and relief, we gifted her a custom sink — a small gesture to remind her that she wasn’t alone, and that her family’s sacrifice had not gone unnoticed.
For Over a Decade, We’ve Shared Our Success with First Responders
For more than 12 years, every time a police officer or firefighter purchases one of our sinks, we give back in a meaningful way. We contribute 50 percent of our net profit from their purchase as our way of saying thank you for their service and dedication.
We are deeply grateful to live in a country that champions freedom, celebrates diversity, and rewards hard work. None of that would be possible without the dedication and courage of our first responders.
We recognize the daily risks our police officers and firefighters take to protect our communities. Their unwavering service doesn’t go unnoticed. From all of us here, thank you—for your bravery, your sacrifice, and your commitment to keeping us safe.

Community Commitment begins at home
Giving back has always been a personal priority. In 2003, I began volunteering at Loaves and Fishes, a local nonprofit that supports families across nine Central Florida zip codes. For nearly seven years, I dedicated every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., helping serve those in need.
Loaves and Fishes operates with just four paid employees and over 80 dedicated volunteers. Since 2010, I’ve continued to serve in an unpaid capacity—first as treasurer, then vice president, and now proudly as both president and treasurer. Every member of our board volunteers their time. It’s an honor to be part of an organization that quietly makes a meaningful difference in so many lives. Take a look at the video below that local channel 6 news did recently.
In the heart of Apopka, Loaves and Fishes stands as a testament to the power of community and compassion. Founded in 1984, the organization has been a lifeline for those in need, providing essential support and fostering a sense of belonging for over 41 years.
For more than 7 years, I volunteered at Loaves and Fishes every Tuesday from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and I continue to support the organization financially each month.
