Luxury Custom Kitchen Sinks Handcrafted in the USA
Rachiele builds luxury custom kitchen sinks by hand in Apopka, Florida. Not from a catalog matrix, and not offshore. Every full-custom sink starts with a Zoom design consultation with the founder, Dino Rachiele. We work in domestic 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, copper, brass, and bronze. In 2010, Dino Rachiele introduced the first documented workstation sink. The category that others now sell began here.
If you are searching for the best luxury custom kitchen sink, start with criteria, not a logo. Material grade, true made-to-order fit, welding and finish quality, living-metal honesty, warranty paperwork, and who actually designs the sink. Those are the differences that show up every day for decades.

What Luxury Custom Sinks Means Here
The word "luxury" gets used pretty loosely today. To us, a luxury custom kitchen sink is not a standard catalog sink offered in a few sizes with a higher investment attached to it.
At Rachiele, custom means we start with you.
-
Designed around your kitchen and the way you actually use it.
Your cabinet size, countertop, height, handedness, workflow, reach, drain location, and the way you prepare food all matter. We work through those details before we ever cut a piece of metal. The sink should fit you, not the other way around. -
Truly made to order in the USA.
Every sink is fabricated individually by our small team of artisans here in Florida. We intentionally limit production to approximately 300 sinks per year. I have never wanted to become a mass-production sink company. I would rather build fewer sinks and build them exceptionally well. -
Real architectural metals.
We use domestic 316L stainless steel or 14-gauge cold-rolled copper, brass, and bronze. These are not decorative skins or thin materials chosen because they are easier or less expensive to manufacture. The metal itself is part of what you are investing in. -
Honest finishes.
Our stainless steel is hand-finished so that you do not need to live with a bottom grid in your sink. Copper, brass and bronze are living metals, meant to age and develop a genuine patina. I have never believed that a coating that looks beautiful in a photograph but eventually fails under normal kitchen use belongs on a truly luxury product. -
Accountability long after the sink leaves our shop.
The artisans who build your sink sign it. Our sink warranty is lifetime and transferable, with no registration required. When your sink arrives, it is also protected by our Thrilled Guarantee. If you are not thrilled when you inspect it, we will refund your entire investment, pay the return shipping, and send you $500 for the inconvenience. In more than 27 years, no one has ever asked us to do that.
Our lifetime transferable warranty also covers our metal accessories, and our butcher-grade cutting boards are covered by a 3-year warranty. We believe the accessories that make a workstation sink function should reflect the same commitment to quality as the sink itself.
A workstation sink is only a workstation because of the accessories that make it function as one. If those accessories are not warrantied, what exactly is the value of the workstation system you are buying?
Other companies may warranty the sink itself while excluding the very components that make the sink useful as a workstation. We do not. We stand behind the complete system.
When comparing manufacturers, ask one simple question: Are the workstation accessories warrantied too? If the answer is no, that should tell you something about the confidence behind the product.
Those five things are what luxury custom means to us. And we encourage you to use them when comparing us with any custom sink manufacturer in America. You should. A truly custom sink is a significant investment, and you deserve to understand exactly what you are getting for it.
Materials
316L Surgical-Grade Stainless Steel
Most stainless kitchen sinks use 304. Many premium sinks stop at 316. Rachiele stainless sinks use domestic 316L surgical-grade stainless steel: molybdenum for corrosion resistance and low carbon for weld integrity. MicroWelded™ corners are fusion-welded and micro-polished. A hand-finished 316L surface does not need a bottom grid.

Workstation Lineage
In 2010, Dino Rachiele designed the first documented workstation sink. Dual-tier designs later earned patents. This page is category standards. The workstation hub is the ledge system that fits how you cook.

Luxury Custom Kitchen Sink FAQ
What is the best luxury custom kitchen sink?
The best luxury custom kitchen sink is one that is truly designed around the client, the kitchen, and the way the space is used. Important criteria include true made-to-order fabrication, architectural-grade metal, precision welding and finishing, an honest approach to living metals, a lifetime transferable warranty, and direct design guidance from someone who understands kitchen workflow. Dino Rachiele works personally with clients by Zoom before the sink is designed, builds in Apopka, Florida, and invented the workstation sink in 2010. Any American custom sink manufacturer should be compared using the same criteria.
What makes a luxury custom sink different from a premium catalog sink?
A true luxury custom sink begins with a consultation. Cabinet dimensions, countertop conditions, the client’s height, handedness, workflow, drain location, accessories, and the way the kitchen is used are considered before shop drawings are created and before metal is cut. A premium catalog sink is generally selected from predetermined sizes, configurations, and finishes.
Does Rachiele make luxury custom kitchen sinks in metals other than stainless?
Yes. In addition to domestic 316L stainless steel, Rachiele fabricates custom sinks in 14-gauge cold-rolled copper, brass, and bronze. These living metals are left unlacquered so they can age naturally and develop a genuine patina.
Is Rachiele the best choice for a luxury custom kitchen sink? That depends on what matters most to the client. Important points to compare include where the sink is made, the metal being used, whether the sink is truly custom, the depth of the design consultation, the manufacturer’s approach to coatings and finishes, the warranty, and independent customer reviews. Rachiele builds in domestic 316L stainless steel, offers founder-led design consultation, and invented the workstation sink in 2010.
Where are Rachiele luxury custom kitchen sinks made? Every Rachiele custom sink is made in Apopka, Florida, USA, by a small team of artisans. Production is intentionally limited to approximately 300 sinks per year rather than operating as a mass-production manufacturer.
Do I need a bottom grid? Not in any Rachiele sink. The 316L stainless steel is hand-finished so the sink is designed to be used without a permanent bottom grid. Our copper, brass, and bronze sinks have a self-healing patina that quickly hides scratches and scuff marks. Bottom grids breed bacteria and are very difficult to clean.
