Every Rachiele sink is made to order in your choice of stainless steel, copper, bronze, or brass.
Stainless steel: hand finished, hammered hand finished, and Millennia. Brushed and hammered brushed are also available, but we discourage them for home kitchens because a brushed surface shows scratches from the first day and is very hard to restore.
Copper: raw, weathered, hammered raw, and hammered weathered.
Bronze: raw, weathered, hammered raw, and hammered weathered.
Brass: raw, weathered, hammered raw, and hammered weathered.
Farmhouse aprons in copper, bronze, and brass can also be finished with eight patina options, plus our unlimited custom patina option, so your apron can be one of a kind.

We intentionally limit production to approximately 300 sinks annually because exceptional craftsmanship requires time, precision, and personal attention. We use premium, domestic 16-gauge, cold-rolled 316L stainless steel, selected for its exceptional corrosion resistance, particularly in welded areas. Unlike conventional 316, its low carbon content significantly reduces the risk of corrosion around welds.

Our copper, brass, and bronze sinks are individually handcrafted from substantial 14-gauge, cold-rolled architectural metals. Each develops its own distinctive character and beautiful natural patina over time.

Is there such a thing as a scratch-proof stainless steel sink?
No. There is no such thing as a scratch-proof stainless steel sink. As the British Stainless Steel Association explains, the austenitic stainless steels used for sinks are not particularly hard, and textured finishes only help mask scratches; they do not prevent them. That is why our 316L stainless steel sinks are individually hand-finished, allowing everyday scratches to be easily removed.
