Patina on Faces of Farmhouse Custom Sinks

Every Rachiele patina is thoughtfully crafted to bring depth, character, and a unique touch to your sink. With rich textures and carefully developed finishes, each one enhances the beauty of copper, ensuring your sink stands out as a true centerpiece in your home.

Weathered

Weathered

This classic patina adds subtle depth and elegance to a copper farmhouse sink. Achieved using household vinegar and a natural sea sponge, it creates a soft, aged look with moderate color variations. The final burnishing ensures a smooth, balanced finish, making it a perfect choice for those who love understated beauty. $420

Weathered II

Weathered II

A bolder take on the traditional Weathered patina, this finish offers more contrast and character. Hints of lighter and darker browns emerge through the careful application of heat, creating a sink that feels rich with history. Unlike the original, this patina is left unburnished, enhancing its organic appeal. $490

Oil Rubbed Bronze

Oil Rubbed Bronze

Deep, dark, and undeniably sophisticated, this patina brings a rich blackened finish with subtle brown undertones. Whether paired with matching oil-rubbed bronze fixtures or used as a statement piece, this sink exudes warmth and elegance. A timeless choice for those who love a dramatic touch. $500

Northern Lights

Northern Lights

Color and movement combine to create something truly spectacular. Please note - this is a very lively finish. We do not suggest this with a counter, floor, or cabinet that has a lot of movement in the design. Please click here to scroll down for more details on this patina. $595

Scheduling, Refined to Fit You

At Rachiele, craftsmanship dictates the timeline—not the clock.
We don’t follow rigid production queues. Instead, your preferred delivery window sets the pace. Whether you need your sink soon or months from now, we’ll schedule production to align with your plans.
Within 1–2 business days of placing your order, Dino will send a detailed dimensional drawing for your review. This is your chance to collaborate, make refinements, and ensure every detail reflects your vision.
Once approved, production begins—deliberate, precise, and timed to meet your schedule, not disrupt it.

Plan with Intention, Receive
with Precision

For a truly effortless experience, we encourage placing your order well in advance. Doing so not only secures your place within our intentionally limited production schedule—it also locks in current investment levels.
While we’ve crafted sinks in as little as 1–4 weeks, our artisanal process, paired with tightly managed capacity, makes thoughtful planning the mark of the well-prepared.
Dino will personally collaborate with you to select an ideal delivery window—timed with care to avoid delays, eliminate storage concerns, and fit seamlessly into your project timeline.
For projects requiring accelerated timelines, we offer a selectively approved rush option, evaluated individually based on availability and scope.

Ordering Online? We’ll Make It Personal.

Even when your order begins online, it won’t stay there long.
Our Signature Collection sinks and accessories can be purchased directly through our site—but every order is personally reviewed. A member of our team will reach out to confirm details and delivery timing and ensure your selection aligns perfectly with your space.
For bespoke orders, we strongly recommend scheduling a private phone or Zoom consultation with Dino. These conversations are where exceptional begins—refining every detail to fit your lifestyle, not just your cabinetry.
The result? A process that feels less like ordering and more like commissioning.

One-on-One Sink Design Consultations with Dino Rachiele

Let’s Begin a More Thoughtful Conversation
To inquire, please call 407-880-6903. You’ll likely connect directly with Dino Rachiele, our founder, or Kimberly, his project manager. Conversations here aren’t routed through call centers or answering machines—they begin where they belong: with the people who shape every detail of your sink.
For a more tailored experience, we invite you to schedule a private Zoom consultation with Dino. This complimentary session is an opportunity to review your kitchen layout, discuss your culinary habits, and design a sink that does more than function—it defines the space.
Most conversations last between 45 to 90 minutes and are best enjoyed on a computer or tablet, where Dino can share his screen and walk you through the nuances of form, material, and function.

Creating Your One-of-a-Kind Patina: Our Process

Our rich and colorful patinas are created through an organic process of minerals reacting with copper. Our team works closely with you to create something beautiful and uniquely you. We invite you to take part in the process, share ideas, and give feedback. In the end, you will not have just an efficient sink; you will have a gorgeous work of art.

Use these examples as inspiration and select 1-3 similar sink fronts you like to discuss with our team, focusing on aspects like color, movement, or pattern. Remember, due to the organic nature of patina, exact duplication isn't possible, but we'll aim to capture the essence and style you desire.

We can also custom inlay just about any scene into the apron portion of your farm sink, using other metals. Pricing is determined by the complexity of the project.

Creating custom patinas typically takes 1-4 weeks, depending on the project. After completion, we'll send a photo for your approval. Quick feedback (within 24 hours) is important, as the patina evolves over time. Most clients love the initial result, but we're open to reasonable adjustments. Post-modification, we'll send another photo for final approval. Then, we apply a durable topcoat to preserve the patina and allow it to cure for a week, achieving a furniture-quality finish. The interior is then weathered, and your sink is prepared for shipment. We're thrilled to involve you in this process and can't wait to craft your unique art piece.

*Please note that if you significantly alter your original patina selection after our artist has begun working on your sink, there will likely be an additional fee.

A Note About Northern Lights Patina

We call this patina "Northern Lights" due to its captivating array of colors that mirrors the enchanting spectacle of the Aurora Borealis. Much like the natural phenomenon that illuminates the northern sky with swirling hues of green, blue, purple, and sometimes red, our Northern Lights patina presents a dazzling blend of colors that evoke a sense of wonder and beauty. This unique patina gives each piece its own unique character and charm, akin to the timeless allure of the Northern Lights themselves. During the patina process, you will receive a photo for approval. Colors will appear more vivid prior to the application of the DuraClear top coat on the apron. Once the coating is applied, tones naturally soften and settle. Because patina is a reactive, hand-applied process influenced by heat, chemistry, and the underlying metal, the final appearance cannot be precisely controlled.

Our Dura-Clear Top Coat is Unmatched

The protective top coat we use on our copper, bronze, and brass apron front sinks is applied only to the vertical surface and requires a lengthy, meticulous process. On day one, we spray two coats. On day two, we spray a third coat and often a fourth. From there, the sink remains in our climate controlled spray booth for a full week of uninterrupted curing.

Once cured, the surface is hand finished to an exceptionally smooth, glass like feel. In the adjacent video, you will see us hammering a weathered and top coated piece of copper. Since filming that video, we have hammered the same piece well over one hundred times without a single chip or crack in the top coat.

While the coating is remarkably durable, nothing is scratch proof. Please ensure that workers do not wear tool belts near your new sink and that no tape of any kind is applied to the top coated portion of the apron.
