We Specialize in Replacement sinks. Outdated, Damaged, and Discontinued Sinks
Many of our customers come to us with a similar concern; they love their kitchen but hate their sink. Sinks of an unusual size, shape, or discontinued brand can be very difficult to replace. Fortunately, we have a unique solution! We can craft a custom sink to fit virtually any space, saving you expensive renovation costs.
Think your granite will crack? Think again.
Fabricators often claim sink replacements are too risky to guarantee—usually because they’d rather sell you a whole new countertop. In 27 years, we have never seen a countertop crack during one of our replacements. Our process is so reliable that even our DIY customers have a 100% success rate. Stop settling for a sink you hate because of a risk that doesn't exist.
Engineering Excellence in Custom Metal Fabrication
At Rachiele®, we define luxury through superior metallurgy and precision engineering. Our custom workstation sinks are handcrafted in the USA using 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, architectural copper, bronze, and brass to ensure a lifetime of performance. The integrity of our hand-welding has been scrutinized and applauded by visiting engineers from NASA and Blue Origin, confirming that our craftsmanship meets the highest industrial standards. As the original innovators of the workstation sink concept, we have spent over 27 years refining our integrated ledge options, turning the kitchen sink into the most sophisticated and efficient tool in the modern home.
Here are just a few brands we have helped customers replace:
Kohler, Americast, Blanco, American Standard, The Galley, Franke, Elkay, American Standard, Ruvati, Ikea, Kraus, Eljer, Native Trails, Signature Hardware, and Zuhne, as well as Corian, concrete, and granite sinks.

Common Questions About Replacement Sinks
Over the years, many customers have voiced concerns over the look of a top-mounted sink. Many fear that their kitchen may not have a modern feel. Fortunately, as you can see below, our drop-in sinks are gorgeous! In fact, many customers prefer to top-mount their sink because they like the look of the metal on the countertop. Having the sink top mounted also ensures that there is no way to chip the edge of the countertop around the sink.
We are often asked if it is difficult to wipe countertop messes into the sink. The answer is no. Our sink flanges are only 1/16 of an inch thick. Most importantly, our custom workstation sinks are designed for efficient food preparation, serving, and cleanup directly within the sink area. This eliminates the need to dirty your countertops or wipe debris into the sink from elsewhere.
In most cases, replicating the shape of a double-bowl sink as an undermount requires a completely custom design where the bottom of the sink is a separate piece from the sides. Additionally, the flange must also be a separate component. This level of customization demands extremely precise measurements on both your end and ours, along with significantly more welding and finishing time.
Ultimately, this results in a very expensive sink that, in my opinion, doesn’t offer nearly the same functional value as a workstation sink. It’s also important to note that workstation sinks cannot be made with curved sides, limiting the feasibility of this approach.

Replacement Sinks: Before & After Transformations

When a Replacement Sink is the Right Choice.
A replacement sink is often needed when an existing sink fails, no longer fits updated countertops, or limits how the kitchen functions. Common reasons include corrosion, cracking, poor drainage, outdated layouts, or upgrading to a deeper or more efficient basin without changing cabinetry. In many remodels, replacing the sink is the most effective way to improve daily use without a full kitchen rebuild.
Replacement sinks present challenges that are rarely addressed by standard, off-the-shelf products. Having spent decades designing kitchens and working directly with homeowners, builders, and installers, these sinks are engineered with real-world constraints in mind. The focus is on fit, function, and long-term use rather than trends or shortcuts.
Selecting the right replacement sink starts with understanding how the existing kitchen is built and how it is used. Cabinet dimensions, countertop material, plumbing locations, and daily workflow all play a role. Taking the time to evaluate these details ensures the replacement sink fits properly, performs well, and remains a long-term solution rather than a temporary fix.
Looking for ways to replace your outdated sink?
Consider replacing it with something much more functional. We replaced this Kohler Pro Center K-3309 and gave our customer an updated look along with the convenience of a workstation.
Seek a reliable contractor who recognizes that you only need your countertop cut, not replaced. Over 25 years and hundreds of projects, none of my customers have experienced a countertop crack! Opt for a contractor who is clear and honest about what to expect. In Central Florida, we can suggest a company that handles both cutting and plumbing. As of January 2026, the typical cost for both countertop cutting and complete plumbing services ranges from $1,100 to $1,400.
