Custom Bronze Kitchen Sinks Made in the USA

Individually handcrafted from solid domestic bronze using advanced micro-welding techniques, Rachiele® bronze sinks represent our most exclusive material. Rich in copper content and architectural depth, bronze develops a refined living finish that becomes more cohesive and more beautiful with time. Designed around how you work in your kitchen, each sink is made to order for exceptional performance and lasting visual impact.

Why Bronze Is the Most Exclusive Sink Material

Bronze has been valued for centuries in fine architectural and artistic applications because of its strength, stability, and unmistakable visual depth. The alloy we use is a rare, high-copper bronze selected specifically for its ability to develop a rich, warm tone that cannot be replicated by surface treatments or coatings.

The color of solid bronze has a natural depth that appears more substantial and more refined than most commonly used kitchen materials. Its warmth complements natural stone, wood cabinetry, and other architectural elements often found in well-designed kitchens.

Bronze is chosen by clients who want a material that feels permanent and intentionally specified. Rather than appearing manufactured, the surface presents a quiet richness that signals craftsmanship and authenticity.

Because this bronze alloy is rarely used in kitchen sinks and requires advanced fabrication techniques, it remains one of the most exclusive material options available for a fully custom sink.

A Living Finish That Becomes More Beautiful With Time

Solid bronze is a living material. Exposure to air, water, and everyday use gradually encourages the surface to develop a deeper, more refined character.

Instead of attempting to maintain a uniform factory appearance, bronze evolves naturally. Areas of frequent use gently highlight, while less frequently touched areas develop slightly deeper tones. Over time, these subtle variations create a cohesive finish that reflects how the sink is actually used.

Many clients appreciate that bronze does not appear static or artificial. Its surface matures slowly, becoming more settled and visually balanced as the years pass.

Because the material itself carries the color, the finish is not dependent on applied coatings to achieve warmth or depth. The result is a surface that feels authentic, durable, and consistent with other natural materials commonly found in luxury kitchens.

Why Bronze Is Our Most Premium Material

Bronze is the most demanding material we fabricate. Its high copper content requires precise temperature control, advanced forming techniques, and extensive finishing to achieve the level of refinement expected in a Rachiele® sink.

Each seam is carefully micro-welded and then micro-polished to create smooth interior transitions that are both visually clean and easy to maintain. Achieving this level of consistency requires significantly more time and skill than most other sink materials.

Because bronze reacts differently to heat and finishing processes, each sink must be individually evaluated and refined throughout fabrication. This hands-on approach allows us to maintain the level of detail and surface integrity required for a truly custom result.

The additional labor, specialized skill, and material rarity contribute to bronze being our most exclusive and highest investment metal option. Clients who select bronze typically value craftsmanship, permanence, and the subtle visual depth that only solid bronze can provide.

Bronze Workstation Sinks Designed for Real Kitchens

A Rachiele® bronze sink is not only visually distinctive; it is designed to improve how the kitchen functions every day.

Our workstation designs allow accessories to integrate directly into the sink, creating a more efficient workflow for food preparation, rinsing, and clean-up. By working over the sink, you can keep countertops clearer, reduce movement between work areas, and maintain a more organized space.

Each workstation configuration is designed around how you personally use your kitchen. Considerations such as cabinet size, reach distance, workflow patterns, and accessory preferences are incorporated into the final design.

Because bronze sinks are individually fabricated, workstation ledges, accessory placements, and bowl proportions can be tailored to support the way you prepare meals and clean up. The result is a sink that performs as well as it looks.

This sink included a multi-use brass drain grate and is built to fit your kitchen and your workflow. Like all Rachiele bronze sinks, it will develop a rich, natural patina over time that only grows more beautiful with use. Every detail is intentional, from the bowl depth and drain placement to the generous slope that keeps water flowing. No two are alike, because no two kitchens are alike.

MicroWelded™ Corners and Refined Interior Surfaces

Rachiele® is believed to be the only custom sink manufacturer in the United States, and very likely worldwide, producing fully custom solid bronze sinks fabricated using advanced micro-welding techniques.

Working with solid bronze at this level requires specialized fabrication methods developed through years of refinement. Each interior seam is carefully micro-welded and then micro-polished to create smooth transitions between surfaces. This process produces interior corners that feel visually balanced and are easier to maintain.

Because bronze responds differently to heat than most metals used in kitchen sinks, achieving consistent results requires precise control throughout fabrication. Each sink is individually refined to ensure the interior surfaces reflect the same level of craftsmanship as the exterior.

The MicroWelded™ process allows the interior of the sink to maintain a quiet visual continuity that complements the natural depth of solid bronze, reinforcing the sense that the sink was designed and built without compromise.

Choosing a Brass or Bronze Sink: A Quick Guide

Interior Of A Well-Used Unlacquered Bronze Sink

Over time, unlacquered bronze develops a rich, deep tone with warm undertones that gradually become more visually unified. Daily use encourages the surface to settle naturally, softening minor marks and creating a finish that appears cohesive rather than worn.

Because solid bronze responds naturally to contact, moisture, and air, the material evolves in a way that reflects real use. Areas of frequent activity gently highlight, while surrounding surfaces develop slightly deeper tonal variation, producing a balanced and intentional appearance.

Rather than attempting to maintain a uniform factory finish, bronze becomes more refined as it matures. The result is a surface that feels authentic, stable, and consistent with other natural materials commonly found in well-designed kitchens.

Interior Of A Well-Used Unlacquered Brass Sink

Over time, unlacquered brass develops a layered patina with warm golden tones that gradually introduce subtle green undertones. Daily use encourages these hues to blend naturally, softening minor marks and creating a surface that feels settled rather than worn.

Because solid brass responds organically to contact, moisture, and air, the surface evolves in a way that reflects real use. Areas of frequent activity gently highlight, while surrounding areas develop deeper tonal variation, producing a finish with visual richness and individuality.

Rather than remaining uniform in appearance, brass develops a more expressive character as it matures. The subtle interplay of warm gold and soft green undertones gives the surface depth that cannot be replicated by applied finishes.

Many clients appreciate that brass develops a distinctive patina over time, creating a surface that feels both natural and visually dynamic.

Custom Bronze Sinks Made in the U.S.A.

  • Bronze Custom Sinks, the Ultimate in Luxury

Bronze is selected for its depth, stability, and the way it matures with use. The alloy we use is copper-rich, giving bronze its warm golden tone and allowing it to develop a natural patina over time rather than remaining static.

Unlike many bronze alloys that closely resemble brass, this material carries a deeper, richer hue that holds visual weight without becoming flashy. It responds naturally to contact, moisture, and air, softening minor marks and developing character rather than showing wear.

Bronze and brass share similar care requirements, but bronze tends to age more evenly and with greater tonal depth. The result is a surface that evolves gradually, becoming more cohesive and expressive as it is used, rather than something that needs to be protected or preserved.

Bronze is chosen by clients who value materials that improve with time and feel settled, intentional, and permanent within the kitchen.

  • Burnished Bronze Drop In Sink

    Custom Bronze Drop-In Workstation Sink

This custom bronze drop-in sink features our Paragon™ workstation layout, designed to support everyday prep and cleanup in a compact, efficient footprint.

Fabricated from copper-rich bronze, the interior surface develops a natural patina that deepens with use, softening marks and creating a cohesive, lived-in finish over time. This sink was custom built for a private residence in Japan, reflecting the adaptability of our designs across different kitchens, cultures, and ways of working.

  • Burnished Bronze Drop In Sink

Bronze is a copper-rich alloy that responds naturally to air, moisture, and daily contact. From the moment it is installed, the surface begins to evolve, developing tonal variation rather than remaining uniform or static.

Early changes are subtle. Light shifts in color appear where the sink is used most, gradually blending into a cohesive surface. Over time, the patina deepens, taking on warm golden and amber tones with increased depth and complexity. This process is gradual and even, shaped by how the sink is used rather than forced or artificial.

Minor scratches or marks do not remain visible. Because the patina is active and self-healing, surface disruptions soften and blend back into the surrounding finish, often within a short period of regular use. Temporary marks left by cookware or utensils will fade naturally as the surface continues to oxidize evenly.

The result is not wear, but character. A bronze sink becomes more settled and expressive with time, reflecting the rhythm of the kitchen rather than resisting it.

  • Bronze Custom Corner Sink

Bronze is the most challenging material we work with. Its high copper content makes welding significantly more demanding than stainless or copper, and it requires extensive micro-welding and micro-polishing to meet our standards. Even minor design variations can dramatically increase fabrication time.

Because every bronze sink is fully custom, the true complexity of a build cannot be accurately determined until the design is finalized. Factors such as size, configuration, drain placement, integrated features, and sheet layout all influence how many welds are required and how much finishing is involved.

For this reason, fixed starting prices can be misleading. An initial Zoom consultation allows us to review your layout, discuss how the sink will be used, and design the sink properly before establishing an accurate investment based on the actual scope of work.

As a general guideline, bronze sinks typically require an investment approximately 10 to 20% higher than a comparable brass sink.

Dual drain, dual tier 72 inch bronze workstation sink

Bronze brings warmth, depth, and a living character that only gets better with time. Every Rachiele® bronze sink is made to order, allowing you to tailor the size, layout, and workstation features to the way you actually work in your kitchen.

Custom Bronze Sink Styles

Because every Rachiele® sink is made to order, bronze can be fabricated in a wide range of configurations to suit both traditional and contemporary kitchens.

Each design is tailored to the cabinet, the workflow, and the visual goals of the project. Proportions, bowl size, workstation ledges, drain placement, and apron height can all be adjusted to create a sink that feels intentional within the overall kitchen design.

Common bronze sink styles include:

• undermount sinks
• farmhouse apron-front sinks
• workstation sinks
• top-mount sinks
• corner sinks
• corner farmhouse sinks
• retrofit farmhouse sinks
• prep and bar sinks

Because bronze is fabricated from solid material rather than formed from pre-made molds, dimensions and proportions can be adjusted to achieve a balanced appearance within the cabinetry and surrounding surfaces.

The goal is not simply to produce a bronze sink, but to produce a bronze sink that fits the kitchen precisely and functions exactly as intended.

What Determines The Investment In A Custom Bronze Sink?

Why We Don't Publish Starting Prices for Brass Sinks

Unlike stainless steel and copper, domestic bronze is only available in limited sheet sizes. This single factor changes everything about how a sink must be designed and built.

A sink that can be formed from one continuous piece of metal in stainless steel may require a completely different fabrication approach in brass. What seems like a small change in size, depth, or workstation configuration can fundamentally alter the construction process, the amount of skilled hand labor involved, and the final investment.

Because of this, publishing a starting price would be misleading. Two sinks that appear nearly identical on paper can require very different levels of fabrication depending on how the design interacts with the available material. The only way to provide honest, accurate pricing is to review your specific design.

A complimentary Zoom call with Dino takes about 15 minutes. He will walk through your kitchen plans, discuss which designs work best within the strengths of brass, and give you a clear, precise investment number based on exactly what your sink requires. No surprises, no estimates that shift later.

Most bronze workstation sinks fall in the $5,000 to $7,000+ range, depending on the size, workstation choice, accessory choices, and configuration.
