The Way Business Used to Be... And Still Should Be
We do business the way it was done a generation ago—when people picked up the phone and spoke with other people, not machines.
When you call us, you won’t get a menu of prompts or a robot asking you to press 1 for anything. More often than not, it’s Dino or our project manager, Kimberly, answering the call directly. Even after hours or on weekends, there’s a good chance you’ll hear back from Dino personally.
Real People. Real Time. Real Service.
While we use cutting-edge technology behind the scenes, state-of-the-art equipment, design software, and production tools, we never let it get in the way of personal service. We believe conversations shouldn't be automated, and customer support shouldn't be outsourced.
You deserve to speak to someone who knows your name, understands your project, and can offer thoughtful guidance... on your schedule, not ours.
Consultations That Feel Like Conversations
When we meet, my goal is to give you as much time as you need. I’ll answer all of your questions—and ask a few of my own—to make sure your sink fits the way you live and cook.
Many of these calls run well over an hour. They aren’t sales presentations. They’re collaborative conversations focused entirely on finding the right solution for your kitchen.
Ready to Talk?
You can schedule a time that works best for you using my online calendar. Once you’ve booked, you’ll receive an automatic confirmation with a Zoom link.
Before we meet, feel free to email me any plans, photos, or details you’d like to discuss:📩 Dino@rachiele.com
If none of the calendar times work for you, just reach out—we’ll make it work.
Welcome to the Family
We’re proud to be a family-owned company. And we treat our customers like an extension of that family, with respect, care, and the kind of service you don’t see much anymore.
These are just some of the types of questions I will be asking.
1. User(s) heights and handedness: The answers will determine bowl depth and drain location.
2. Who does most of the food prep? Understanding your routine helps us tailor the sink to the way your household truly functions.
3. Who does most of the cleaning up? This commonly helps to locate the drain properly.
4. Is this a remodel or new construction? Project type impacts sizing options, cabinetry considerations, and accessory fit.
5. What is the timeline of the project? I’ll make sure your sink is scheduled appropriately so it arrives exactly when you need it.
6. I will ask to see a floor plan and will go over options and critique the plan if you like.
7. Metal choice? We’ll walk through the pros and cons of stainless steel, copper, bronze, and brass—including care, durability, and appearance.
8. Workstation choice? I’ll explain the unique benefits of each of our workstation options—NexGen™, Paragon™, and Harmony™—so you can make an informed decision.
9. If you are choosing a copper, bronze, or brass farm sink, we will be going over options for the patina on the face of the apron.
10. I’ll introduce our top three accessories designed to dramatically improve your kitchen workflow and explain why they’re included in nearly every sink we build.
11. We can co-create a sink together, explore options, and review your total investment.
12. I may introduce you to Waterstone faucets; they pair perfectly with our sinks and increase workstation efficiency.
13. If you’re not ready to order during our consultation, no problem. I’ll offer to prepare a formal proposal you can review at your convenience.
Why I feel this consultation is important.
Before founding Rachiele Custom Sinks, I spent over two decades working as a kitchen designer. And what I learned time and time again is that even the most beautifully built sink won't perform well in a poorly planned kitchen.
That’s why this consultation isn’t just about selecting a sink. It’s about making sure your kitchen as a whole works in harmony with it. I consider everything: traffic flow, dishwasher placement, and trash location are often details most people overlook.
For instance, many homeowners don’t realize that with a right-rear drain, it’s possible to fit a double pull-out trash can beneath the sink, freeing up valuable cabinet space and improving workflow. These are the kinds of insights I love sharing during our call. If you’d like, I’m happy to review your kitchen plans in advance to help you get the most out of your investment.
My Personal Philosophy
I’ve been asked many times to sell bottom grids or extra accessories for our sinks. While it would boost revenue, our sinks don’t need grids due to their durable materials and unique finishing. For accessories, I always encourage customers to start with the essentials and add on later if needed. Most find they don’t need anything extra after they have used our sink and our essential accessories.
This approach isn’t about making the biggest sale; it’s about doing what’s right. Decades ago, I chased "sales" and "profits," but now my goal is to simply help people. Whether it’s guiding someone to a more affordable option, helping families find the best alternative sink brand when ours aren’t within reach, or advising against unnecessary upgrades, my satisfaction comes from making a genuine difference.
A friend once overheard me advising a customer against $1,100 in upgrades and asked if I was out of my mind. I replied. “I wouldn’t advise accessories and design upgrades to someone that wouldn’t genuinely benefit their family—just like I’d never suggest something to you that you would not benefit from. That’s the principle I stand by for my customers, my team, and their families.
