Warranty/Guarantee Information

Satisfaction Guarantee:

Our goal is to exceed your expectations. We want you to be completely thrilled with your new sink! Upon delivery and subsequent inspection, if, for any reason, you are not THRILLED with the quality of my sink, I will (1) promptly and fully refund your money, (2) pay for the return shipping cost, and (3) send you a check for $500, in recognition of the inconvenience experienced. I want you to be THRILLED. We leave mere customer "satisfaction" to the competition. 

Lifetime Limited Transferrable Warranty

We stand behind every sink we make. Our warranty is limited to defects in workmanship. We will repair or replace any sink that is shown to be defective and will pay for all shipping. 
We guarantee that your sinks will:

  • Drain Properly

  • Be True and Square

  • Be free of harmful contaminants like mercury, lead, and arsenic. 

  • Be within 1/16” or less on all approved dimensions

Accessories:

  • All of our metal culinary accessories have a lifetime transferable warranty. 

  • All of our butcher-grade cutting boards have a three-year warranty regarding defects in material and staining.

  • We can guarantee that your wood cutting board will arrive in perfect condition. Beyond delivery, we cannot offer a warranty on wooden boards. Improper care is almost always the cause of issues that appear over time. A wood board should never sit on a wet ledge of a sink. It must be oiled regularly with mineral oil to maintain stability. If one side of the board is exposed to moisture while the other remains dry, the board will eventually warp.

Apron Front Finishes on Copper, Bronze, and Brass

Please note that any topcoat, while highly durable, has the potential to scratch. Our warranty does not cover scratches on the topcoat. To help preserve the finish, we recommend being mindful of installers or repairmen wearing tool belts, as they can scratch the apron front.

Faucet selection is also important. A faucet with too short of a reach will cause you to lean into the sink, leading to repeated friction against the apron. Over time, this may wear down the protective topcoat. Additionally, since copper naturally expands with warmth and contracts with cold, farm sinks should not be exposed to extreme temperature fluctuations, as this can impact the topcoat.


The apron finish is warranted for up to three years against defects. To maintain its pristine condition, please ensure:

  • Installers and plumbers do not wear tool belts that could inadvertently scratch the apron.

  • No tape is applied to the face of the apron.

  • Avoid hanging wet towels or metal towel bars on the apron, as prolonged exposure to moisture or metal contact can lead to damage.

  • Consistent leaning or pressure on the apron is minimized. Imagine rubbing the same spot on a car’s paint daily—eventually, friction will wear it down. The same principle applies here. Choosing a faucet with proper reach will help prevent unnecessary wear.

Warranty Terms

This warranty does not cover damages or product failures caused by factors beyond Rachiele LLC’s control, including but not limited to:

  • Misuse, neglect, accidental damage, or improper installation

  • Alterations, modifications, or normal wear and tear

  • Acts of God or unforeseen external conditions

Rachiele LLC is not responsible for removal or installation costs. This warranty is exclusive and replaces all other warranties, expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to lost profits, delays, incidental, consequential, or special damages.

Payment Policy

Rachiele Policy:

We accept all major credit cards, including American Express. We also accept wire transfers.

50% Deposit: If your project's completion date is over four months away, we require a 50% deposit to secure your reservation. You will receive detailed drawings within 1-2 business days. You have the flexibility to modify or cancel your order with a full refund before approving the drawings, should your circumstances change. The remaining balance will be charged 45 days prior to the scheduled completion date.

Payment in Full:

If your completion date is within the next four months, full payment is required at when you place your order. We’ll send you detailed drawings within 1-2 business days.  You have the flexibility to modify or cancel your order with a full refund before approving the drawings, should your circumstances change.

Rush Fees:

We can generally have a sink built in a week or two. That being said, we would be paying our team overtime to do so, unless we happen to be ahead of schedule. There may be a 10%–15% rush fee based on how busy our team is and the complexity of the project.

Return - Refund Policy

Custom Sinks:

  • Once detailed drawings have been approved and production begins, modifications or refunds are no longer possible.

  • You are free to make changes or even cancel your order up until the drawing is approved. After approval, the production process is considered final.

  • If you run into any challenges during the project, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to help and will do our best to find a solution that works for you.

Clearance Sinks:

  • Return Window: Any clearance sink purchased in stock (not custom made) may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

  • Return Costs: A minimum of a15% restocking fee will apply, in addition to outgoing and return shipping costs. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping and any associated liabilities.

  • If the sink has an apron front with a patina, there will be an additional $250 charge for removing the top coat and patina.

  • All clearance sinks must be shipped via UPS in their original crate. If the original crate is unavailable, there will be a $150 charge to build a new crate.

Faucets:

  • Waterstone Faucets: Waterstone faucets are subject to a 35% restocking fee.

  • The faucet must be returned in new condition, including all original packaging and boxes.

Copper Diffuser Plates, Drains, and Sink Accessories:

  • These items may be returned within the 30-day window, provided they are unused and in new condition.

  • A 15% restocking fee will apply, along with the cost of original shipping.

  • Returns must be sent in their original packaging and shipped via UPS.

Return Methods:

  • By UPS only: All returns must be processed via UPS, and we will provide a downloadable, printable return label.

Refund Processing Time:

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), your refund will be processed within 7 days. The refund will be issued to your original method of payment. Please allow additional time for your financial institution to process the refund.
