Acrylic Caulks:
Silicone caulk SHOULD NOT be used with our copper, brass, or bronze sinks because the acids in the caulk can react with the metals and turn them green. Silicone is acidic and will react with Copper brands and bronze and will create a green patina. Our color-matched caulk is not acidic and cannot be found in stores! This will closely blend with the color of our naturally weathered copper, brass, and bronze sinks. For stainless, we offer our Lifetime Ultra Premium Elastomeric Acrylic Latex Sealant. This caulk is gray and blends nicely with our stainless steel sinks. It is equipped with HomeShield Antimicrobial Protection to fight against mold and mildew and will not shrink or crack. From what we have seen, The Gray version of this caulk is only available by case lots. Hence, we stock it.
Usage Guide for Copper, Brass, and Bronze Caulk:
Undermount sinks up to 42″ – 1 tube
Undermount sinks larger than 42″ & all top mount/drop-in sinks – 2 tubes
Usage Guide for Stainless Steel:
One tube should be enough for our largest sinks or two medium-sized sinks.
