Custom Bronze Kitchen Sinks Handcrafted to Order in Solid Bronze

Rachiele® custom bronze kitchen sinks are handcrafted to order from solid domestic bronze by a team of four master artisans in Apopka, Florida. Copper-rich and architecturally distinctive, solid bronze develops a living patina that deepens and becomes more refined with every year of use. Each sink is fabricated using our proprietary MicroWelded™ corner process - the only technique of its kind in custom sink manufacturing - and designed around your specific kitchen, your workflow, and the way you actually cook.

Why Bronze Is the Most Exclusive Sink Material

Bronze has been valued for centuries in fine architectural and artistic applications because of its strength, stability, and unmistakable visual depth. The alloy we use is a rare, high-copper bronze selected specifically for its ability to develop a rich, warm tone that cannot be replicated by surface treatments or coatings.

The color of solid bronze has a natural depth that appears more substantial and more refined than most commonly used kitchen materials. Its warmth complements natural stone, wood cabinetry, and other architectural elements often found in well-designed kitchens.

Bronze is chosen by clients who want a material that feels permanent and intentionally specified. Rather than appearing manufactured, the surface presents a quiet richness that signals craftsmanship and authenticity.

Because this bronze alloy is rarely used in kitchen sinks and requires advanced fabrication techniques, it remains one of the most exclusive material options available for a fully custom sink.

How Bronze Evolves and Why It Demands More From the Craftsman

From the day it is installed, a solid bronze sink begins to change. Contact with water, air, and daily use gradually deepens the surface tone, creating subtle variation between areas of frequent activity and surrounding surfaces. Minor scratches and marks do not remain visible - they soften and blend back into the patina within days of normal use.

This is not wear. It is the material responding to the rhythm of your kitchen, and it is one of the reasons bronze is chosen over metals that require constant maintenance to look their best.

Bronze is also the most technically demanding material we work with. Its high copper content causes the metal to react to heat differently during fabrication, requiring precise temperature control at every stage. Each sink must be individually evaluated and refined throughout the build - there is no repeatable factory sequence that produces acceptable results in bronze.

The additional hand labor, specialized skill, and limited domestic sheet availability are the reasons bronze carries our highest investment. It is not priced higher for exclusivity alone. It is priced to reflect what the material genuinely requires to fabricate at this level.

Bronze Workstation Sinks Designed for Real Kitchens

Every Rachiele® bronze workstation sink integrates accessories directly into the basin - cutting boards, grids, colanders, and drying racks slide into position over the sink, keeping countertops clear and reducing movement between work zones.

What makes a bronze workstation different from stainless is the surface itself. Bronze's natural patina conceals the everyday evidence of a working kitchen. Water spots, minor contact marks, and utensil traces blend into the finish rather than standing out against it. The sink looks better with use, not worse.

Workstation ledge positions, bowl depth, drain placement, and accessory configurations are all determined during your private consultation with Dino, based on your cabinet dimensions and how you actually prepare and clean up meals.

MicroWelded™ Corners and Refined Interior Surfaces

Rachiele® is believed to be the only custom sink manufacturer in the United States - and very likely worldwide - producing fully custom solid bronze sinks with MicroWelded™ and micro-polished interior corners.

This process produces interior seams that are micro-polished to a smooth, refined finish. On a new sink, the seams are visible but clean and precise. Once the bronze develops its natural patina through use, the seams blend completely into the surrounding surface and become virtually undetectable. Because the corners are micro-polished, there are no rough transitions or crevices where food or residue can collect.

Employees of NASA and Blue Origin have stated they have never seen welding and finishing of this caliber outside of the aerospace industry.

Common bronze sink styles include:

Each configuration can include NexGen™ or Paragon™ workstation layouts, custom drain placement, and accessories tailored to the design.

What Determines The Investment In A Custom Bronze Sink?

Unlike stainless steel and copper, domestic bronze is only available in limited sheet sizes. This single factor changes everything about how a sink must be designed and built.

A sink that can be formed from one continuous piece of metal in stainless steel may require a completely different fabrication approach in bronze. What seems like a small change in size, depth, or workstation configuration can fundamentally alter the construction process, the amount of skilled hand labor involved, and the final investment.

Two sinks that appear nearly identical on paper can require very different levels of fabrication depending on how the design interacts with the available material. The only way to provide honest, accurate pricing is to review your specific design.

A complimentary consultation with Dino takes about 15 minutes. He will walk through your kitchen plans, discuss which designs work best within the strengths of bronze, and give you a clear, precise investment number based on exactly what your sink requires. No surprises, no estimates that shift later.

Most bronze workstation sinks fall in the $5,000 to $9,000+ range, depending on the size, workstation choice, accessory choices, and configuration
