So, What Is the Drain Coverlet?

The Coverlet is a solid, elegantly machined metal disc that rests over your disposal drain opening on perfectly designed feet. It allows for water flow without allowing larger food particles to flow down the drain. It conceals the ugly standard black rubber splash guard in the disposal—letting your sink be the focal point, not your drain hardware.

It doesn’t just hide the drain—it refines the visual language of your sink.

Why We Made It

 To me, there’s nothing uglier than looking at the opening to a garbage disposal. It’s like seeing a coffee stain on an otherwise pristine marble countertop—a small flaw that draws the eye and undermines the beauty of everything around it. No matter how beautiful the sink, that exposed drain opening disrupts the entire experience.

That’s exactly why we stopped making our original drain covers over 12 years ago. The design didn’t live up to our standards, and we refused to offer anything we couldn’t stand behind with complete confidence. After several weeks of rethinking, prototyping, and testing, we’ve finally arrived at a design that not only solves the problem—it does so beautifully.
